One of Donna's horses suffered a suspensory injury. Desperately searching for a way to help her horse recuperate quickly, she found a company that had achieved remarkable results with cold water hydrotherapy. Donna traveled to England to see all of the units currently on the market.

After being able to physically compare the pros and cons of the each of them, Donna selected the unit that not only had wonderful results, but was also the safest model for the horses. She was able to witness first hand how the recovery time for the horses was dramatically reduced. This form of treatment is widely used in Europe and the Middle East in all equestrian disciplines and now it's emerging here in the US as a leading modality for therapy and pre competitive strengthening.

She now manufactures these units here in the US and sells them throughout North and South America under the name Therapeutic Advantage, LLC. She works directly with the parent company in Ireland, CET Equine Spa.

Donna's familiarity with the show jumping community, led her to the decision to bring this wonderful therapy here to the States and introduce it at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, FL in 2006. During WEF, the team treated many horses with and without injuries, either to help the horses heal faster or to condition them before and after competition. The results were fantastic!

In Donna's personal riding career, she competed successfully in the Jumper ranks for over 12 years, training with George Morris, Chris Kappler, Jeff Cook and Nona Garson. Donna knows first hand, the impact a tough day in the ring has on your horses legs and truly believes you'll see the results with your own horse.
